Willow's pricing page FAQ also says you can change or cancel any time from the Plan & Billing section of the Willow app, and that your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period. The pricing page and the help article use slightly different labels (Plan & Billing, Manage Billing); look for whichever your version shows.
Steps: cancel Willow on a Mac
- Open the Willow app on your Mac.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Manage Billing.
- Enter your account email. Willow sends you into the Stripe customer portal.
- Select Cancel Subscription and follow the steps to confirm.
The same Stripe portal lets you update the card, change billing details, and download a PDF invoice for any past charge, according to Willow.

- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find Willow and tap Cancel Subscription.
Apple's page Cancel a subscription from Apple describes the same route. If you see no Cancel button, or an expiration message in red, Apple says the subscription is already cancelled. Apple's page also gives a Mac route through the App Store, if you want to check from your Mac with the same Apple Account.
What happens after you cancel?
Willow's help article says a Mac subscription "will cancel at the end of your current billing period", and the pricing FAQ says your plan stays active until then. Willow's pages do not describe in detail what the account looks like afterwards. Willow's pricing page lists a free Basic plan; after the period ends, check which plan the app shows.
Willow's terms of service, last updated 30 April 2025, say subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, and that you remain responsible for fees incurred through the termination date.
Can you get a Willow Voice refund?
The vendor's pages do not state a refund window. Neither the cancellation article, the pricing page nor the terms of service describe refunds. If you want to ask, email [email protected], the address given in the help article. For an iPhone subscription, refunds go through Apple.
How do you delete your Willow account or data?
Willow's pages do not describe a self-serve delete button. Its privacy policy says you can request access to, or deletion of, your information by emailing Willow, and that Willow may ask you to verify your identity. It also says you can manage your locally stored transcript history, privacy mode and Context Awareness in the app's settings. Cancel the subscription before you ask for deletion, especially an Apple one, so billing stops either way.
Willow's pages do not describe a self-serve data export. Ask in the same email if you want a copy.
