Aqua Voice has a free allowance and three paid plans. As of 1 October 2026, Free includes 1,000 words, Pro costs $10 a month or $8 a month billed annually, Max costs $30 a month or $24 a month billed annually, and Business costs $24 per seat a month or $228 per seat a year. The free words are a way to try the app, not a plan you can stay on: after them, unlimited dictation needs Pro.

For 100 or more seats, Aqua's pricing FAQ says to contact sales; the page also invites teams of more than 20 users to get in touch for volume discounts.
The pricing page says Aqua Voice is available for Mac, Windows and iOS, with Android on a waitlist.
What does the free allowance include, and where does it stop?
The pricing page describes Free as "1,000 free words and the Avalon transcription model" with no credit card. Aqua's FAQ page answers "Does Aqua have a free trial?" with: "Yes. Starter includes 1,000 free words with no credit card required. See pricing for paid plans after you use the allowance."
Two things follow from Aqua's own wording:
- It is an allowance, not a weekly limit. Neither page says the 1,000 words renew each week or month. Aqua's FAQ treats them as the trial. If a renewing free tier matters to you, check the app or ask Aqua before relying on it.
- The name differs between pages. The pricing page calls the tier "Free" and the FAQ calls it "Starter". They describe the same 1,000 words.
A thousand words is roughly four or five medium emails. It is enough to check accuracy on your own voice and vocabulary, and not enough for a working week.
What are the refund terms?
Aqua's pricing page says "Cancel anytime" and does not describe a refund window. Aqua's terms of service say, in the payment section, that "payment obligations are non-cancelable and Fees paid are non-refundable" except as the terms otherwise specify. Read that as: cancelling stops the next charge, and you should not count on money back for a period already paid. That matters most for annual billing. If you are unsure, start month-to-month.
Is there an Aqua Voice discount or promo code?
We do not list or pass on promo codes. The one discount Aqua documents on its pricing page is for students: 70% off Pro and Max when you sign up with a school email address, on monthly or annual billing. Aqua gives the resulting prices as $3 a month (or $2.40 a month billed annually) for Pro and $9 a month (or $7.20 billed annually) for Max, and says verification accepts .edu and international academic domains such as .ac.uk, .ac.jp, .ac.kr and .ac.in. For anything else, check the pricing page itself.
How much does Aqua Voice cost over one, two and three years?

How to read it honestly:
- Aqua Pro is cheaper than SuprFlow for the whole first year. Twelve months at $10 is $120, and a year on annual billing is $96. The one-time price becomes the lower total in month 13, on either billing option.
- Short-term, Aqua wins clearly. Three months of Pro is $30. If you need dictation for one project, pay monthly and cancel.
- The rows are different products. Aqua's Mac page describes a cloud service, and Aqua covers Windows and iPhone too. SuprFlow is a Mac-only app for Apple Silicon and macOS 14 or later that recognises speech on the Mac, with local cleanup of punctuation, capitalization and numbers. SuprFlow has no free tier, no trial, no Windows or phone app and no team console.
- Free may be enough. Apple's built-in Dictation and Superwhisper's free plan cost nothing. Try them before paying anyone.
SuprFlow's licence is personal, covers up to five Macs you own, and has a 7-day refund on a first purchase. We have not run a controlled benchmark of either app, so this page compares price and terms only.
Who should pay for Aqua Voice, and who should not?
Pay for Pro if you used the 1,000 words, liked the results, and want unlimited cloud dictation at one of the lower monthly prices among subscription apps, on Mac, Windows or iPhone.
Pay for Max if you specifically want Realtime Mode or the "Send it" command. Those two features and early access are the whole difference Aqua lists, at three times the Pro price.
Choose Business if your team needs SSO, SCIM or Zero Data Retention; Aqua lists those only on Business.
Do not pay if your policy or preference is for speech recognised on your own Mac, or you dislike subscriptions. Aqua Voice alternatives covers local and one-time options.
